This Privacy Policy explains how Fanvestia Live (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services at fanvestia.live (the “Service”).

By using Fanvestia Live, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account and profile

Phone number used to register or sign in
Display name and profile photo (if you provide them)
Favorite team preferences you choose in the app

Phone and contacts (fan matching)

With your permission, Fanvestia Live may access your device contacts and sync hashed or normalized phone numbers with our servers so we can show which of your contacts also use Fanvestia Live and help you find fellow fans. Contact names may be stored locally on your device; we use phone numbers on our servers for matching and discovery features.

Messages and chat content

Text chat messages you send in conversations and watch parties
Media you choose to share (such as photos, voice notes, or gallery videos)
Reactions, read state, and related chat metadata needed to deliver the Service

Real-time audio and video (LiveKit)

Fanvestia Live uses LiveKit to power real-time audio and video for Live Atmosphere and Theater Mode features (for example, watch-party camera streams and live crowd audio). We do not record private user media. LiveKit sessions are used to deliver live, real-time atmosphere between participants; Fanvestia does not store or archive your private microphone or camera streams as lasting recordings on our servers.

Usage, device, and diagnostic data

Basic device and app information (for example, OS version, app version, screen context)
Crash logs and voluntary bug reports you submit through in-app reporting tools (description, optional device info, and related diagnostics) so we can fix issues
Server logs needed for security, reliability, and abuse prevention

Location (when enabled)

If you use venue or map features, we may process location-related information you choose to share (such as nearby venue discovery or check-ins) to show fan-relevant places.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and maintain your account
Deliver chats, watch parties, Theater Mode, and Live Atmosphere
Match you with contacts who also use Fanvestia Live (with your permission)
Personalize experiences such as fixtures and favorite-team features
Operate, secure, and improve the Service
Respond to reports, abuse, and support requests
Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these cases:

With other users — content you send (messages, profile details you make visible, live atmosphere participation) is shared with the people in that chat or room
Service providers — trusted processors that help us run the Service, including LiveKit for real-time audio/video transport, hosting, and infrastructure partners. They process data on our instructions and only as needed to provide their services
Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect users, rights, property, or safety
Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction

4. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we continuously work to improve our safeguards. Access to production systems and data is limited to what is reasonably needed to operate Fanvestia Live.

5. Data Retention

We retain account, message, and related service data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes. Bug and crash reports are kept as needed to investigate and resolve issues. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data as described below.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your account or certain personal data
Withdraw contacts or location permissions in your device settings
Opt out of optional features that require extra permissions

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@fanvestia.live. You can also manage many permissions (contacts, microphone, camera, location) in your device settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

Fanvestia Live is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. International Processing

We may process information on servers and with providers located in different countries. Where we do, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate protections consistent with this Policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
